In this era of information technology, we were able to grasp the extent of the activities of approximately 310 business sites that are overseen by 132 regional offices in order to publish the Environmental Report 2003 in June, which enabled the Company to look forward to the next year of PDCA activities.
This report was created with information collected and analyzed from various sites in real time. Although NEC Fielding still has a long way ahead before compiling report which discloses objective and achievement of the environmental management, we have worked to provide you with an improved environmental report through self-evaluation as well as feedback from readers, and we hope that you will read it with pleasure.
Postscript
As fiscal 2003 constitutes the final year of activities for achieving our present objectives and targets, the stance and image of this report will remain much the same, with enhanced information, in Environmental Report 2004.
