Our stock has only been listed for five years, and most of our business dealings are business-to-business (B2B). For this reason, we do not have a high degree of recognition among the general public.
In recognition of this fact, we are advancing investor relations (IR) activities to give individual investors a correct understanding of our businesses and activities. |
A business-to-business (B2B) transaction is a business transaction between entities involving business activities.
This is in contradistinction to consumer-to-consumer (C2C) transactions, which are between consumers. |

| Decrease in investment price and increase in real dividends through stock split |
On May 20, 2004, we conducted a two-for-one stock split for ordinary shares. Our aim was to increase the liquidity of our shares and attract more individual investors by reducing the investment amount per share. As the annual dividend per share remains 30 yen, this resulted in a real increase in dividend payments.
Since 2004, we have seen a gradual increase in the number of shareholders, with the level currently maintaining at over 9,000 shareholders. |
| Increasing individual shareholders |
| We are committed to achieving stable, solid growth by making customer satisfaction (CS) and CSR the foundations of our business operations. From the results of the shareholder questionnaire attached to Shareholder Communications, we believe that more shareholders support our corporate outlook, and that this has resulted in an increase in our number of shareholders. |

| Winners of the 6th award for companies commended for raising the number of individual shareholders |
On February 15, 2008, we were selected by the Tokyo Stock Exchange as one of the six winners of the companies commended for raising the number of individual shareholders for fiscal 2007. The following points were taken into account in our selection.
- We have increased our number of individual shareholders for the past three straight years, and we more than doubled the number between three fiscal years prior and the previous fiscal year.
- We hold briefings for individual investors, and actively disclose information to individual investors.
- We have a large selection of documents (e.g. materials for financial-report presentations, annual reports, and CSR reports), videos, and other content on our Website.
We believe we were able to win this award thanks to our corporate outlook and our commitment to appropriately disclose information to all our stakeholders, including our individual shareholders. |
