We shall strive to provide environment-friendly goods and services that help customers to alleviate their environmental burden, and practice green purchasing for office supplies used in the company. |

Besides observing the environmental regulations of national and local authorities and the items of agreements with customers, we shall apply our own voluntary control standards and work to prevent pollution on an ongoing basis. |
| 4. |
We shall set forth an explicit program of environmental management activities and have all departments and employees practice environmental management in their own ways, in accordance with their respective roles. |
| 5. |
We shall confirm the status of activities through internal environmental auditing; make efforts of improvement, correction, and prevention; and strive to maintain and improve our environmental management system. |
| 6. |
We shall systematically educate our employees about environmental preservation to raise their environmental awareness, so that each will act as good corporate citizens. |

| System operation setup and organization |
 |
| Our organization for the operation of our environmental management system is topped by the chief environmental management executive, who determines the yearly policy for management activities. In accordance with this policy, the person in general charge of environmental management adds the guidelines for environmental objectives and targets issued by the person responsible for the environmental management system, and instructs the persons in charge of environmental management on the first tier (branch/departmental/divisional level) to formulate yearly plans and conduct activities in their respective areas. The activities in these areas are executed in accordance with these yearly plans. Afterward, progress reports on these activities are made to the district, first tier, and corporate levels. Meanwhile, the Central Environmental and Safety & Health Committee engages in deliberations on medium-term plans, compliance, and in-house rules, and the various conferences below promote activities of environmental communication in the interest of horizontal spread and monitoring. In addition, each year, an auditor appointed by the chief executive performs the internal environmental auditing for linkage to continuous improvement. |

| Fiscal 2006 regular audit (May 2006) |
 |
| In fiscal 2006, efforts were made to increase the number of NEC Fielding group companies (NDEC and FSC) ISO certified. The environmental management system that we operate is a three-tier (multi-site) system - company-wide, branch division, branch office. We once again underwent an audit by the Environment ISO audit institution in fiscal 2006. The audit, which was checked and verified by two teams, revealed that while there were no items requiring "instruction for improvement," there were eleven "opportunities for improvement," which we undertook. We are working to implement corrective and preventive measures and strive so that these measures lead to improvements. |

In addition, we have taken measures to counter environmental risks that could occur in the event of various accidents. |
